A Bit About Mary...
Mary C. Wright, M.A. is a Vermont Certified School Psychologist and Educational Consultant. Mary has been providing high quality assessment and educational consulting services for the past 25 years. Mary also has advanced training and certification in executive functioning interventions, social cognition coaching, and mindfulness practices. The cornerstone of her approach is to provide students with a true understanding of their learning profiles by focusing on strengths and demystifying the related academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges they face in their lives.
Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation
Strength-based Assessment
Psychoeducational and psychological assessments involve using a strength based approach in regards to cognitive, academic, executive functioning and social-emotional profiles. It is a process which includes testing, clinical interviews and input from parents and teachers regarding the student. The goal of the assessment is to have the individual understand his/her profile and how he/she learns best. Suggestions for supports, tools and strategies are also provided in a post evaluation conference and a written report.
Academic Coaching
Define & Achieve Goals
A holistic, highly focused approach to helping students define and achieve their academic goals. This one-to-one coaching model helps students identify their learning objectives, find their own solutions, and follow their plans through to completion. Students will have the opportunity to meet their goals through this highly motivational, structured, encouraging approach where they are held accountable for their decisions.
